Les Schaevitz is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer at iPosition. He is a graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and is a member of the original Schaevitz Engineering (now MSI/Schaevitz Sensors) family, the pioneer company of the position sensor industry. With Schaevitz Engineering just prior to its sale to
Lucas (TRW), he ultimately went on to be director of sales and marketing at Macro Sensors (now AST/Macro Sensors), a leading manufacturer of LVDT linear position sensors. Les Schaevitz later founded Everight Position Technologies Corp. and Everight Sensors Corp., the proprietary products of which were sold to Alliance Sensors Group. While at Everight Sensors Corp., Les promoted the development of the world's most advanced AC-LVDT signal conditioner and the world's most robust linear sensors for use on large electric power generating steam turbines. His primary strength is relating market needs to product design and specification and executing new product approaches to primary application groups.
