Les Parker is Senior Vice President of Strategic Business Development at LoanLogics. His responsibility includes strategic initiatives and integrating his technologies into the various LoanLogics' platforms. By active listening he assesses customers' myriad of needs and works with customers to apply the best solution to the highest need.
He understands the relationship between risk management and quality assurance, which is the foundation of the new highly regulated secondary market.
Most recently, Mr. Parker was president of PARKER & COMPANY which was founded in February 1994 and acquired by LoanLogics in September, 2013. The company's offerings included risk management technology, budgetary tools, mortgage servicing rights valuations, MSR accounting tools, and trading advice.
Mr. Parker's mortgage banking experience spans executive vice president and chief operating officer and various production positions. He served a director of the largest private issuer of CMOs in the 1980s. He started his real estate finance career while in college.
Parker graduated from San Diego State University in Finance, Global University in Ministerial Studies and the School of Mortgage Banking. At age 29 he became a Master Certified Mortgage Banker, the highest designation conferred by the Mortgage Bankers Association of America.
He served for a couple years on the MBA Financial Managers subcommittee as policy was being developed for MSR accounting. For over thirty years Parker has been active in ministry and is currently the chaplain for the Fellowship of Real Estate Executives, FREE.
Parker has written numerous articles and has made various presentations on an array of mortgage banking topics for organizations including: Fannie Mae, Mortgage Bankers Association, National Mortgage News, Chicago Board of Trade, New England Mortgage Banking Conference, Appraisal Institute and regional thrift and banking conferences. He is regularly quoted and interviewed in industry media.
