Les founded Accu-Tax in 1975. He received his accounting education from Eastern Kentucky University and the University of Kentucky. Les has been an active member of the National Association of Accountants and the Kentucky Association of Accountants since 1984, serving as treasurer in 1986. He is a member of the University of Kentucky Alumni
Association, Better Business Bureau and the Chamber of Commerce.
Les retired from the business at the end of 2017. He entrusted and passed on the family business and his legacy to his daughter and CEO Dana. Who takes care and continues to cultivate relationships Les has built over the last 20+ years of being a small business accounting firm.
He currently lives in Winchester Ky and spends his spare time taking care of his rentals and going RVing whenever he can get away.
