Dr. Li has over 20 years of drug discovery and early development experience with large pharma and early-stage biotech companies. Prior to joining Presidio, he was Scientific Director in Medicinal Chemistry at Amgen, where he received the 2004 Robert A.
Swanson Distinguished Employee Award. Before Amgen, Dr. Li served as a Research Investigator
at Abbott Laboratories.
Dr. Li obtained his BS degree in Chemistry from Shandong University in China. As a recipient of a China-US exchange scholarship (the Chemistry Graduate Program), he attended Rice University earning his Ph.D. degree in Organic Chemistry. Dr. Li also conducted postdoctoral research at Stanford University.
