Leith Mudge is CEO at Pozzey. He is a systems engineer with over 20 years experience in the defence sector developing complex software intensive systems including JORN & the AWD Combat System. Previously Leith ran Sirenus, which developed an emergency alert smartphone app. Leith is the origin of the main idea behind Pozzey. Having a background
in the defence sector he has seen the impact of computing technology on this since the early 90’s and is keen to apply inertial navigation and RFID concepts pioneered in aerospace and defence to commercial devices. He is particularly interested in the location awareness capabilities of these devices. He is keen to use mobile devices to enhance the retail shopping experience in bricks and mortar stores – believing that this is part of the way that these stores can respond to the online ecommerce threat. Leith has an M.Sc. in Physics.
