Lee has over 24 years of experience in the energy industry. Upon graduation from SUNY Binghamton in 1991, he began his energy career at New York State Electric and Gas Corporation (NYSEG) in the internal audit department. During his nine year tenure at NYSEG, Lee gained a solid foundation of energy procurement and auditing knowledge from the
utility perspective. In 2000, he returned to Binghamton University (one of the four University Centers in New York State) as Director of Physical Facilities Business Management. He managed all physical facilities operational capital and utility accounts. He also served as a board member on the SUNY Energy Procurement Group Steering Committee. Lee currently serves as General Manager of Sourcing and Auditing at NuEnergen. His innovative perspective to the industry resulted in the development of NuEnergen’s OK2Pay services. OK2Pay is a proactive utility bill audit service, which helps clients to be sure that ALL utility bills are really “OK2Pay” before payment is made to the energy provider. Lee received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from SUNY Binghamton and is a Certified Energy Procurement (CEP) specialist with The Association of Energy Engineers (AEE).
