Mr. Barberito is Chairman and CEO of Manti Resources, Inc., a privately held enterprise that invests, operates, and manages primarily in energy, bioscience, advanced technologies, and real estate. The company was founded by Mr. Barberito in 1989 and is headquartered in Covington, LA with operations worldwide. Mr. Barberito is also co-founder of
Authentix. Mr Barberito formed Cimex Biotech which has been a recognized pioneer in cryogenic surgical applications as well as cardiac assist device research. He is also a Co-Founder of MalibuIQ, LLC a private investment partnership located at HRL Laboratories in Malibu, CA. MalibuIQ has established a partnership with HRL Laboratories to commercialize HRL inventions originally developed for the defense, aerospace and automotive industries. Mr. Barberito is an active member of numerous industry organizations including the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. In 2003, he was nominated to the “All American Wildcatters” association, which is comprised of a group of the most recognized pioneers of the oil and gas industry. He is also Founder and Director of the FutureUS Foundation, which is a charitable organization that provides financial and educational support to underprivileged children and families in South Texas and Louisiana. He is an Associate Member of the MD Anderson Cancer Center Board of Visitors. Mr. Barberito is a native of New Orleans and graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree in Chemical Engineering.
