Born in Maddaloni (Caserta, Italy) in 1969, Lazzaro Ventrone has built his entrepreneurial career over more than 30 years of experience in the fields of transportation, logistics, and mobility services. After a long professional journey, he now leads three companies he founded, operating in different yet closely connected sectors: General Trasporti
S.r.l., specializing in road haulage services for third parties; ASG S.r.l., established in 2017, which develops logistics solutions and manages the trading of raw materials for key industrial sectors; and OMR S.r.l., launched in 2005, providing vehicle storage, technical assistance, mechanical workshop services, and maintenance for heavy-duty vehicles. Lazzaro Ventrone began his career after earning his Diploma from the Istituto Tecnico Economico in Santa Maria a Vico (Caserta). In 1988, he joined one of the leading Italian road transport companies, initially working in the traffic management department before taking on roles of increasing responsibility, becoming Logistics Manager and, from 2003, Sales Manager. Two years later, he made his entrepreneurial debut by founding OMR S.r.l., a company dedicated to maintenance and assistance services for heavy-duty vehicles. In 2011, he established General Trasporti S.r.l., expanding operations into road transport for various industries, including the mining, steel, ceramic, and energy sectors, strengthening partnerships with major industrial groups across Italy. In 2017, with the creation of ASG S.r.l., he further broadened his business activities, providing advanced logistics solutions and raw material trading services.
His achievements have earned General Trasporti S.r.l. significant recognition, including its inclusion by “ItalyPost”, in collaboration with “Corriere della Sera”, among the top-performing companies in the province of Bergamo (Italy) for four consecutive years (2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025).
