Mr. Taplin has broad experience researching, designing and fabricating imaging systems. As a staff Color Scientist for over ten years at the Munsell Color Science Laboratory, RIT, he has designed multispectral cameras and printing systems for digital archiving and conservation of museum artwork. Mr. Taplin received an MS in Color Science from RIT,
has over 30 years of experience in computer programming, and holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Delaware. Mr. Taplin has co-authored over 25 journal articles and conference proceedings on various topics in color science and holds four patents.
