Laura Niewold is a Nashville, Tennessee-based volunteer who has helped raise money for local nonprofits by planning events like the Symphony Ball, Hermitage Gala, and Swan Ball. She is also active in her community through her membership in West End Methodist Church, where she has been a lay leader and member of the wedding and communion committees.
Laura Niewold is also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and spent two years as vice regent of its General James Robertson Chapter.
The 2010 La Bella Notte at Loews Vanderbilt Hotel was one of the first signature events Laura Niewold helped plan in a co-chair capacity. Two years later, she co-chaired the Nordstrom Symphony Fashion Show, which featured a performance by Carrie Underwood and benefited the Nashville Symphony's education outreach program. In 2015, she co-chaired the Symphony Ball, which honored Miranda Lambert.
More recently, Ms. Niewold co-chaired the Hermitage Gala and Conservancy Gala, the latter of which raised funds for Centennial Park and the Parthenon. She also co-chaired the 2025 Swan Ball, which raised $1 million for the Friends of Warner Parks.
