Lars Verneholt joined Litorina as a Partner in 2008 after twelve years in the financial advisory industry, where he primarily worked with M&A and corporate finance. During these twelve years, Lars held various positions at Catella, Carnegie Investment Banking, Merrill Lynch and Handelsbanken. He gained extensive transactional experience from
both public and private transactions in the Nordic region as well as numerous private equity-related transactions.
Lars' previous position was at Catella, where he was responsible for Catella Consumer, an advisory business focusing on the retail and consumer goods sectors in the Nordic countries. Before joining Catella, Lars was a senior banker at Carnegie Investment Banking, and prior to that he spent four years at Merrill Lynch. Lars also worked for two years as an analyst at Handelsbanken in Stockholm and London and one year as the CFO for Nordic Circle, a consultancy firm formerly owned by Brummer & Partners and Ledstiernan.
Lars holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics and an MBA from University of Chicago.
Previous experience includes board assignments in Semantix, Grolls and Cederroth.
