Dr. Larry Zhang, Partner. He is mainly involved in deal sourcing, due diligence, negotiation, transaction monitoring, and portfolio management, and also leads the legal due diligence process. Dr. Zhang is one of the pioneers who started PE practice in the early years of Cleantech industries in China. Dr. Zhang has led or participated in PE
transactions of several hundred million US dollars, covering renewable energy, new materials, energy efficiency and environment protection, etc. Within the past several years, Dr. Zhang has visited hundreds of innovative companies in Cleantech area.
He was recognized as Top 100 Chinese Investors by the Eminent Chinese Enterprises and Entrepreneurs Association, and he sits now on the board of several portfolio companies. Prior to joining Tsing Capital, he worked with telecommunication and internet companies as department head, responsible for equity financing, strategic planning and legal affairs.
Dr. Zhang graduated from AMP program of Harvard Business School. He also holds degrees of Ph.D in Economics and LLM.
