LaMar graduated from Firth High School in 1965. He married his high school sweetheart, Verna Rae in 1966 and they are the proud parents of five children, sixteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. Each one is their favorite.
He went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University in 1968. He obtained his
CPA license thereafter in 1970.
