I created DIY Genius because I believe our current education system does a awful job of developing our uniqueness and creative talents. I believe that genius is realized by leading a life of passion and purpose while developing your creative gifts so you can make a difference in the world.
I'm a strong believer in the value of self-directed
learning and using the Internet to build creative projects. I'm a jack-of-all-trades digital media specialist and I have learned all my digital skills by utilizing online resources and learning directly from digital entrepreneurs who I have sought out to earn their mentorship.
In my spare time, I regularly lead Spirit Quest Ecotours in Stanley Park near my home in Vancouver, British Columbia. These tours introduce people to the holistic awareness of indigenous cultures and teach them a powerful immersive meditation technique in nature.
I'm also a lifelong digital nomad, a passionate meditation teacher, and I watch a lot of documentaries. My favorite way to learn is by building and launching my creative projects online.
