Kyle's passion is using creativity to inspire creativity.
Freak'n Genius is the epitome of that passion, and they have a great head start having gone through the Microsoft Kinect Accelerator, powered by Techstars.
Formerly Kyle was the Chief Creative Officer of Giant Thinkwell, a Seattle TechStars 2010 company.
Prior to his two
startups, he has worked with dozens of brands on a variety of projects, including: Lucas (Star Wars), Marvel, Warner Bros, Burger King, Simpsons, South Park, Hasbro, Star Trek, MGM, and many more. The projects ranged from interactive and mobile experiences, to toys and electronics.
Startup Weekend is Kyle's other passion, where he gets to serve as a global facilitator, event organizer, designer, photographer, attendee, coach, and judge. This last year, he created a Startup Weekend initiative called "Rise of the Designer", with an effort to bridge the creative world with the startup world in order to unlock massive collaborative potential.
The limited times he is not heads down in something creative or technology related, Kyle spends his time volunteering at his mother's K9 rescue. She has rescued, rehabilitated, and adopted out over 600 dogs in just 2 years. Dogs are a huge passion of his, and he takes hundreds of photos of them.
