Prior to founding Silver Hill, Mr. Miller served as a Principal and Senior Vice President of Energy Trust Partners, LP, where he led the firm's business development and deal sourcing efforts and assisted in the management and oversight of three oil and gas private equity funds with aggregate commitments of $875 million. Prior to joining Energy
Trust Partners, Mr. Miller served as a Vice President of Energy Spectrum Advisors Inc., where his experience included sourcing and executing a wide range of oil and gas acquisition and divestiture transactions as well as private placement assignments. Mr. Miller began his career with Wells Fargo Bank and Wells Fargo Energy Advisors in Houston, TX, where he served as an Associate in the energy lending group and worked on A&D advisory assignments. Mr. Miller received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Southern Methodist University and also attended Washington & Lee University. Mr. Miller is a recipient of the Outstanding Young Alumnus award from the Edwin L. Cox School of Business at SMU. Mr. Miller serves on the 21st Century Council, a primary advisory organization to the President of SMU, and is also a member of the Board of Directors of the SMU Mustang Club. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dallas Wildcat Committee, and is a member of the Independent Petroleum Association of America, the Ft. Worth Wildcat Committee, and the ADAM Energy Forum. Mr. Miller is also an active volunteer and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Children's Medical Center Foundation.
