Dr. Kunsheng Wu is the CSO of MolBreeding. Prior to joining MolBreeding, Dr. Wu had been with Monsanto Company for 20 years as a Senior Scientist. He was one of the founder members of the Molecular Breeding program at Monsanto, leading the Molecular Marker Development team for a long time. He has extensive knowledge, experience, and expertise in
Plant Genomics, Genetics, Marker-Assisted Breeding, and Biotechnologies. He successfully led the development of a number of commercial products including Vistive soybean, HBC soybean, and High Oleic oilseed rape. He also played an important role in Biotech trait development and testing.
Dr. Wu received his Ph.D. degree in Plant Genetics from Cornell University.
