A highly regarded patent attorney, Kuni has a deep technical background in engineering and science. Kuni has extensive experience in patent portfolio management, licensing, freedom to operate studies, inter partes and ex parte reexamination proceedings before the U.S. Patent Office, and opposition proceedings before the European Patent Office. Over
the years, Kuni has drafted and prosecuted to issuance hundreds of patents in multiple technical fields, including medical sensors and devices, computer hardware and software, wireless communication systems, broadband data networks, and audio and video systems. Kuni is past president of the San Francisco Intellectual Property Law Association.
