Kris Ames Wabash National Corporation is a two billion dollar a year industrial manufacturing business and the lead American manufacturer of semi-trailers. Wabash National has a growing presence in a number of industries and currently serves customers across three strategic segments: Commercial Trailer Products, Diversified Products, and Retail.
Kris has been an IT professional for 20 years across a variety of industries including a startup ISP, IBM, and chemical manufacturing. In her role as IT Director, she is responsible for the security, application administration, development, network, server, and storage systems across 50 locations including 11 manufacturing sites and over 2000 computer users. She holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a BA in English from Purdue University. During her decade at Wabash National, she has led several strategic initiatives such as the compete virtualization of the server infrastructure, several ERP system upgrades, and most recently the conversion to the Nutanix hyper-converged platform.
