Prior to joining CFEngine, he was CFO of Mamut ASA, a Norwegian public company specializing in ERP software and Internet services for SME companies. Mamut ASA was acquired by Visma ASA. Previously, Mr. Stålen worked as a Director of Finance for Microsoft.
From 2001 to 2008, Mr. Stålen was CFO for Trolltech ASA, the Norwegian developer of the
popular Qt cross-platform application framework. He managed the company’s 2006 IPO and financial operations as a public company through its 2008 acquisition by Nokia.
