Klaudio’s journey to becoming COO of SecurKart started with a discord group and a post for a raid in Pokémon Go. That’s how and where he met the founding members of SecurKart, developing a bond based on a love of video games. For Klaudio, comfort comes from a curiosity in what’s beyond a screen, the inner workings of the major computer systems that
help guide our lives.
Klaudio, an immigrant from Albania, recalls walking into a computer lab for the first time in high school. Growing up in Albania, he spent much of his free time playing soccer, and his background with technology did not extend much beyond an old Atari 2600 console. Seeing the rows and rows of computer monitors for the first time, and stumbling upon the website of his favorite soccer team, opened him up to a new world that would provide him opportunities to explore these digital spaces.
The drive to obtain a greater understanding of computers led Klaudio to degrees in Computer Science and Computer Engineering. He spent several years working for a major warehouse distributor in a variety of roles before starting with SecurKart in sales, working to communicate with clients about SecurKart’s products. His background allowed him to move up the ranks, building out SecurKarts and developing server rooms to support them. He appreciates SecurKart’s organizational philosophy where everyone is given the opportunity to voice new ideas.
