Khalid Hansraj’s role at Innovate Calgary is focused both on business development for internal business units and external opportunities including but not limited to strategic partnerships and sponsorships.
In 2007, Khalid started his research career working for pharmaceutical and medical device companies. In 2009, Khalid transitioned to the
tech sector and has spent the last five years working for four incubators across Alberta, supporting their technology management and business development needs. Prior to Innovate Calgary, he was a Business Development Analyst at TEC Edmonton where he was supporting business development activities for both spin-out companies and SMEs focused on advanced materials, geomatics and industrial automation. His business development support culminated in his clients raising over $5M.
Prior, Khalid was supporting channel sales for a Calgary-based industrial software company where he was responsible for aggressively growing sales in Western Canada’s oil and gas industry.
