Kevin is a General Partner at Spark Capital where he has led investments in Medium, Haven, Sidewire, and Bumpers.
Prior to joining Spark Capital, Kevin spent over 20 years working for startups that defined new markets in graphical computing, messaging, mobile technology, and social media. He was employee number 7 at Software.com (which became Openwave) where he helped ship the first mobile browser, mobile messaging services, and mobile web sites. More recently, he joined Twitter in 2008 when there were 20 employees as Director of Mobile products and later became Vice President of Business and Corporate Development where he led teams responsible for strategic partnerships, the developer ecosystem, media & entertainment relations and M&A. He began his career at Silicon Graphics working on developer marketing.
Kevin is a Silicon Valley native, graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and lives in San Francisco with his wife and 3 kids.
