Kevin O’Kane started his career in the plumbing industry as a first year apprentice in 1990. His apprenticeship was mainly on large building sites in the Sydney Metro area. Once he had completed his apprenticeship and advanced training he became licensed and immediately created Highlander Plumbing in 1996. Since this time he has trained over 10
apprentices, many of whom are now licensed themselves. He is a passionate believer that training apprentices, or as he calls it; “organic growth” is the key to a loyal and happy workforce.
