Kerry provides leadership and strategic direction for communications, public policy and public affairs, human resources, marketing, and ethics and compliance for Cambia and its subsidiary Blue plans in Idaho, Oregon, Utah and Washington. He is the chief compliance officer and the chief legal officer, overseeing legal functions of the company.
Kerry has held senior executive positions with ODS Health Plans, HealthFirst Medical Group, and served Oregon as the insurance commissioner and as the governor's legal counsel and senior policy advisor.
He is on the board of governors for the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute. He sits on the Public Policy Committee and on the Strategic Communications Advisory Council of America's Health Insurance Plans. He also serves on the Legal Division Co-op Board of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association. In the community, Kerry serves on boards for the Portland Business Alliance, United Way and the Cambia Health Foundation, and as an Oregon Business Council deputy.
He received his Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Rochester and received his law degree from Yale Law School.
