An attorney and legal professional licensed to practice in both New York and Alabama, Kenneth (Ken) Randall held the role of dean of the University of Alabama (UA) School of Law from 1994 to 2013. He previously served this
Tuscaloosa-based institution of higher learning as an acting dean and a vice dean. As a result of his administrative efforts, UA experienced a 25 percent increase in student admission and boosted bar passage and placement rates to roughly 96 percent. Kenneth Randall also served UA as a tenured professor of law.
Ken Randall currently heads iLaw and iLaw Global, a pair of closely affiliated online law education companies with headquarters in Tuscaloosa. His responsibilities with these companies range from general creative oversight to new business development. Since its establishment in 2012, iLaw has grown to capture an approximate 20 percent market share of all accredited law schools in the United States.
