Kenneth Mischel likes to spot and develop connections between things that are not always easy to see. For example, he develops insights and tools from social network theory and apply them to financial markets to create effective algorithmic trading strategies. His interest in designing automated systems is not limited to trading, but extends to
expert advice systems. I designed, and non-exclusively license a highly-regarded automated pension advice system to Bank Mizrahi Tefahot, Israel’s fourth largest bank. He recently founded Doctor Pension that will aim to leverage technology and emotionally intelligent customer experience design to provide value to mandatory defined contribution retirement savers. Prior to entering the business world, he was a tenured professor in the Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College, CUNY. During his time at Zicklin, he received numerous awards for the quality of his teaching and numerous competitive grants to fund his research, the findings of which were published in leading academic journals. He loves interacting with students and continue to teach in a variety of college, university and executive educational settings.
