Ken Treaccar recently joined the Brigham Resources team as Executive Vice President of Land and Brigham Minerals as Chief Executive Officer. Ken joins Brigham Resources after a one-year role as Director of Land for Statoil’s Bakken Business unit in Austin, Texas. Prior to the acquisition of Brigham Exploration in December, 2011 by Statoil, Ken had
been Director of Land and an Area Land Manager for Brigham for 15 years. Before Brigham, Ken held Landman positions with Hunt Oil Company, Pacific Enterprises Oil Company and Sabine Corporation actively working a number of US Onshore Basins since 1980. This included mineral and royalty acquisition efforts and management at Sabine Corporation and Brigham Exploration. Ken is a Certified Professional Landman with a BBA in Petroleum Land Management from the University of Texas in Austin.
