Ken Pense works with teams, business owners and mature organizations with a focus on re-imagining the next stage of growth. He has a special expertise in identifying the core issues that block growth. Ken has a unique ability to design strategies which align with the values and vision of the clients he advises. After working with Ken Pense,
, people report they have a clear road map for success, more courage, confidence and focus to implement that road map resulting in more momentum to move toward successful outcomes.
After more than 25 years working with people, Ken has a deep experiential understanding of human nature. He has a working knowledge of the impact of neurology, emotional intelligence and the human tendency to take the path of least resistance. With an ability to see the “pieces fo the puzzle” and synthesize complex information, he is able to co-create change initiatives with high impact individuals and teams. It starts with creating a map of the current conditions, then thoughtfully choosing a new "destination" and finally designing a "trip plan". Mistakes and failure are a valued part of the journey, as these provide valuable information that allows for adjustments and redesigns. Ken does not prescribe solutions, but instead, works collaboratively with clients toward a solution that works for the current conditions.
Committed to life long learning and continuous improvement, Ken Pense asks the same of those he works with. He believes that “solutions” have a limited life span and to be effective, teams, business owners and organizations must consistently evaluate their current strategies with an openness to learning and changing in the face of rapidly shifting external conditions..
On a personal note, Ken has completed several long distance walks, the most recent being a 140 mile walk in western England.
Ken's hero is Paul MacCready: "Fail fast and fail often."
