Ken Myer is a leadership advisor and interim executive for companies in transition as well as a leadership and management lecturer at the University of Washington Foster School of Business. Ken began his professional career at IBM where he held a variety of positions including CFO, General Manager of the Northwest region, and National Segment
Manager for the Software and Computer Services Industry. After IBM he went on to hold successful leadership roles at Active Voice, Interval Systems (which he co-founded), and as CEO of the Washington Technology Industry Association. Ken has served as interim leader for a variety of companies including Picnic, Yapta, HydraMaster, and Data I/O and has been an advisor to executives at both mature organizations (Microsoft, Holland America, BECU) and early stage companies. He teaches Leadership in the graduate program at the University of Washington Foster School of Business and was Faculty Director of the Masters in Entrepreneurship Program from 2019 - 2021. Ken has been recognized three times for building a “best company to work for” and in 2009 was recognized as one of Seattle’s most influential business leaders. He is on the on the board of directors of the Washington Trails Association and is an avid hiker and backpacker.
