Ken Kamada has over 17 years in the financial services and technology industry. He started his career at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter and served a variety of roles as a sales person, analyst and portfolio manager. He subsequently worked as a portfolio manager for Helm Capital Management in Seattle. During his tenor at Helm, Ken was also the interim
CFO at Redapt, a systems integrator and software company in Redmond, WA.
Ken co-founded 501k, a non-profit that aggregates and distributes donor created charitable portfolios with Zaarly co-founder Eric Koester. In 2011, Ken Kamada was a founding team member and CFO at Zaarly, an online marketplace company connecting buyers and sellers which was funded by Ashton Kutcher, Naval Ravikant, Crunchfund and Kleiner Perkins Caufield Byers.
He then served as VP of Finance at DoubleDutch and raised over $65M in venture capital with investors such as Bessemer Ventures, Mithril Capital and KKR helping the company grow from 75 to 250 employees in 18 months with annual recurring revenues exceeding $15 million.
Currently, he is the VP of Finance and Operations at SocialChorus.
Ken has served as an advisor, board member and investor to several startups and founded Kamada Investment Management, a boutique wealth management firm that actively manages capital for high net worth families.
Ken received a BA in Mathematics and Philosophy from Boston College.
