Ken was the first teacher to ever use BoomWriter with students. Prior to joining BoomWriter, Ken spent ten years in public education in Massachusetts in a variety of roles.
Most recently Ken served as an elementary-level assistant principal within the Waltham Public Schools. Prior to that Ken was a 6th Grade Teacher at the Pierce School in
Brookline, MA where he taught English Language Arts, Math and Science.
While at Pierce Ken also served as the Girls Basketball Coach, Math League Coach, and as the Co-Director of Pierce School’s after-school program. Ken was also a special education teacher within the Lincoln Public Schools.
During his summers, Ken has been the Director of the Writers’ Express Summer Ink camp at Simmons College as well as a program Director at The Park School’s Summer at Park camp. Ken received his B.A. from the University of Massachusetts and M.S. from Wheelock College.
