In 1993, Haven and partner Tim Lau founded Acorn Product Development, Inc., a privately held engineering consulting firm developing products for consumer, computer, communication and medical industries. Acorn has grown in size to 40 full time professionals, with offices in Silicon Valley, Boston, and China. Acorn’s clients include such well-known companies as Boston Dynamics, Cisco, Dolby Labs, Intuitive Surgical, Logitech and Keurig.
