Ken Dodelin leads Capital One’s Intelligent Assistant, digital messaging (email, SMS, push notifications) and digital content products in the Digital Enterprise organization, based in Vienna, Virginia. Ken joined Capital One in 2015 and has focused on building a new strategy for digital customer communications that includes innovative products in
the virtual assistant/AI space. He leads a cross-divisional team that in 2016 made Capital One the first bank to provide customers with access to their account information on the Amazon Alexa platform, and in 2017 the first bank to launch a natural language SMS chatbot (Eno). Prior to joining Capital One, Ken led mobile product development at The Washington Post and Cricket Media. Ken was also Founder and CEO of Mobile Surroundings, which produced the It Happened Here mobile app that reached #1 in iTunes Travel. Ken has a BS in Psychology from The College of William & Mary and a JD/MBA from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Ken has been an Adjunct Professor teaching graduate-level digital product development courses at Georgetown University for 10 years.
