Dr. Keith Hoffman brings over 15 years of of science, business, and intellectual property development experience to AdverseEvents, Inc.Prior to joining Adverse Events, Dr. Hoffman served as Chief Business Officer at Antigen Discovery, Inc., Chief Operating Officer of Thuris Corporation, Chief Operating Officer of ChemoTherapeutics, Inc., Managing
Director & Chief Operating Officer of LALO, LLC, Head of Business Development at MicroIslet, and Director of Scientific Affairs at Ancile Pharmaceuticals.
Dr. Hoffman has also been a business development and intellectual property adviser to many companies within the healthcare and technology sectors, including Cortex Pharmaceuticals, GammaTile, FinQuiver/LockDowel, OLAS Pharmaceuticals, Resolution Biomedical, SkipRack, Tensor Biosciences, ThermalCore, and Xona Microfluidics.Keith has seventeen years of intellectual property development experience, including: drafting, prosecution and strategic work on over 65 patent filings across varied biological, chemical and engineering technologies. Dr. Hoffman also drafted the founding patents for Ancile, ChemoTherapeutics, CytoStent, FinQuiver, LALO LLC., LassoDrain, MicroIslet, OLAS, Psych Pain Therapeutics, Tensor, ThermalCore and Thuris.
Dr. Hoffman received a B.A. in biology and a Ph.D. in neuropharmacology from Dr. Gary Lynch's laboratory at The University of California, Irvine where he authored 18 peer-reviewed publications related to his specializations in Alzheimer’s disease and the biochemistry of memory formation. Keith was also the recipient of the Edward A. Steinhaus teaching award, and a Special Commendation of Excellence in teaching.
