Dr. Noel is a consultant with over 30 years’ experience in technology assessment, strategic planning, development and implementation of regulatory strategies for expedited commercialization, and strategic partnering. During this time she has identified and in-licensed many proprietary compounds; prepared and obtained approval/clearance for
for over 30 INDs, orphan drugs, and NDA filings; brought manufacturing facilities into GMP compliance and achieved successful FDA pre-approval inspections; and devised strategies for re-positioning of oncology drugs that failed Phase 3 trials. For the last decade, she has focused on oncology and virology drug development.
Prior to co-founding OncoEthix, her successful start-up and development experiences included creating and financing the first healthcare business plan, managing a $75 million financing, and development and marketing of the first PCR test kits at Cetus Corporation; co-founding a novel distribution system called Oncology Therapeutics Network, subsequently sold to Bristol-Myers Squibb; and co-founding an oncology drug development company that in-licensed oxaliplatin as its first portfolio product. Dr. Noel received a PhD in biophysics from the University of Michigan.
