Karl Werner joined Ritchie Bros. in 1996 as Territory Manager for the Olympic Peninsula and Alaska. In 1999 he was appointed to Regional Manager for the Northwest US and in 2004 transferred to the company's corporate head office as Senior Manager, Strategic Projects. In 2005 he was appointed to Divisional Manager, Auction Operations. In 2008
he was appointed to VP of Auction Operations and most recently held the position of Chief Auction Operations Officer.
Mr. Werner came to Ritchie Bros. after 10 years of operating a heavy-haul transport company. He has a strong background in real estate development and operations management. Karl sits on advisory boards for various strategic partners.
