Kai has worked in the semiconductor industry for over 20 years in key technology and executive management roles. Kai was formerly Senior Director at Cypress Semiconductor Company, where he headed the Synchronous SRAM business unit.
Prior to Cypress, he was VP of Operations at Galvantech, heading up all the manufacturing functions in both the US
and Taiwan. He has also held the positions of VP of Technology Development and VP of Quality at IC Works, Inc. and Director of Technology Development at Paradigm Technology. Kai started his career at Zilog and was instrumental in their CMOS process integration.
Kai holds a B.S. degree in Physics from Nation Taiwan University in Taiwan and a Ph.D degree in Physics from the University of Illinois. Kai serves on the board of directors of RichWave Technology, Sentelic, 5V Technologies, Power Analog Microelectronics, Aiconn Technology, and LiquidLEDs Lighting.
