Julia Brown, Ph.D. is Senior Vice President and Chief Technical Officer. Julia joined UDC in June 1998 as Vice President of Technology Development.
Prior to joining UDC, Julia was a Research Department Manager at Hughes Research Laboratories where she directed the pilot line production of high-speed Indium Phosphide-based integrated circuits
for insertion into advanced airborne radar and satellite communication systems.
Julia received an M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering/Electrophysics at USC under the advisement of Professor Stephen Forrest. Juliais a Fellow of the IEEE and also an SID Fellow.
Julia has numerous scientific publications and patents in the fields of III-V compound semiconductors, Si MEMs, and organic electronic devices and systems.
