JP joined Adaptly in August 2013 as Chief Technology Officer, where he oversees Adaptly's Engineering and Technology team.
Prior to joining Adaptly, JP was CTO of the music division of Sony’s DADC group responsible for a global engineering team responsible for delivering major label music content to digital service providers such as
iTunes and Spotify.
Earlier in his career JP co-founded and served as CTO of TuneTo.com, which developed innovative music delivery technology that was ultimately acquired and served as the foundation of the Rhapsody music subscription service, which he lead the development of.
Later, JP served as CTO at Liquid Audio where he was responsible for the development and fulfillment of all online and in-store digital music offerings for Walmart.
JP graduated from the University of Miami and holds degrees in both (B.M.) music and (B.S.) electrical engineering,and has been granted several patents for audio signal processing and media delivery technology.
Outside of the office, he enjoys being a dad and an occasional musician. Originally from New Jersey and after a long stint in the Bay Area, JP currently resides in New Jersey.
