Joyce Mwangama received her BSc degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and MSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cape Town (UCT), South Africa. In 2017 she completed her study towards a PhD titled “Infrastructure Sharing of 5G Mobile Core Networks on an SDN/NFV Platform”. She is currently working as a Lecturer and
researcher at the University of Cape Town. Her research interests are Future Internet Technologies, 4G/5G Mobile Network Architectures and Services, Software Defined Networks and Network Virtualization.
