Joy is co-Founder of Herman and Senior Advisor of the Company. He not only brings proven experience as a serial entrepreneur, but also relevant Digital Sales experience at large corporations which is paramount to accelerate the growth of the Company.
Joy Raj Sen is currently leading the digital transformation of the commercial model at BBVA in
Mexico driving digital sales from 11 to 50% of total sales surpassing 1bnUSD in sales. He is, furthermore, shifting the entire focus and capabilities of the organization towards an open market model that includes influence over the digital factory and consumer journeys as well as eCommerce solutions and digital over capabilities of the organization. Risk, compliance, CRM and technologies are constantly faced by challenges to be able to streamline the capabilities towards a non client based selling organization.
Joy has grown a 25 strong sales rep team to 250 sales in Germany in Financial services at the age of 23 years. He went on to work in Deloitte Consulting and KPMG Advisory services as Management Consultant with Human Capital Advisory Services. He went on the be Managing Director for Mexico for a German Multinational corporation at the age of 31, setting up a production site and expanding the business to Latin America from Mexico. Joy was partner and VP of Operations & Client Services for the first Latam based digital marketing firm Activ@Mente. He led the redesign of Aeromexico global website including front and backend with booking engine and multiple storefronts. He also instrumented the digital GoToMarket Strategy for P&G in multiple products on a LatAm regional level. He has contributed as Lead of the innovation chapter of Mexican Marketing Association as well as professor for Digital Strategy at the Master in Internet Business with Madrid & Mexico City based ISDI school. He initiated the digital marketing operations at Citigroup in Mexico growing from 6 to 126 headcount strong organization and has been key in advising propiedades.com, bescience.com, xynertia.com. He founded nodeBOX Consulting Group that has incubated companies like Arriv.io, CodeCaveCamp & distribution of china based Face++ technologies for the region. Joy also co-founded the first co-working space in Mexico called ThePool.mx and is currently Chairman of the board at Herman & ThePool.
Joy is half German, half Indian and was born in Belgium. He has an MBA from ITAM, Mx and Tulane University as well as being a certified black belt in Six Sigma. He loves to support entrepreneurs constantly in achieving their goals and overcoming their challenges.
