Joshua Corbin is a Principal Investigator and Professor of Department of Pediatrics at Children’s National Medical Center. Dr. Corbin is also an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Pharmacology and Physiology at George Washington University’s School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
With more than 22 years of experience in the field, Dr. Corbin
focuses his studies on genetic and cellular basis of the development of the mammalian amygdala, a major component of the brain’s limbic system.
Dr. Corbin holds a B.A. from Rutgers College and Ph.D. in neuroscience from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. He also completed postdoctoral programs at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in neuroscience and New York University School of Medicine in developmental neuroscience.
