Prior to joining RPM, Josh Lin built his management consulting experience with IBM’s Strategy and Transformation practice. As a Senior Consultant, Josh focused on business model and process re-design, organizational change management, and strategic initiative roadmapping for Industrial and Financial Sector clients undergoing mergers &
acquisitions or enterprise-wide transformations. Josh also supported the development of IBM’s Social Business service offering, focused on driving social adoption for mid to large size companies.
Early Stage DNA. In 2008, Josh co-founded Nexecon Consulting Group, a student-run consulting group that partners with local business in the Southeastern Michigan region. In addition to consulting with nano-tech and services start-ups, Josh was responsible for building Nexecon’s brand image, sourcing and scoping projects, and establishing its advisory network. Nexecon is now one of the largest consulting groups in the Ann Arbor community and consistently ‘graduates’ consultants into Fortune 500 companies.
Community. Josh continues to remain actively involved with Nexecon Consulting Group as a member on its Board. In this role, Josh aims to provide the organization with expertise gained from his time as a consultant and ensure sustainable leadership transition from one Executive Board to the next. Josh is also a Fellow within the Michigan Venture Fellow Program and serves as a mentor for Bizdom and Coolhouse Labs.
Josh graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelors of Business Administration, concentrating in Marketing and Corporate Strategy. He is an avid tennis player and budding amateur triathlete.
