Joseph Macnow is Executive Vice President - Finance and Chief Administrative Officer of Vornado Realty Trust and is responsible for the Company’s administrative operations. Joseph Macnow, a 34 year veteran of the Company, became Chief Administrative Officer in June 2013. Previously, Joseph Macnow served as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer.
Prior to joining Vornado, Joseph Macnow was employed as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of City Stores Company. Prior to joining City Stores Company, Joseph Macnow was an Audit Manager with the international public accounting firm of Ernst & Young. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of New York and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Financial Executives Institute.
Joseph Macnow participates in Baruch College's Executives on Campus program and is a member of The Steven L. Newman Real Estate Institute's Advisory Board at Baruch and Baruch's 17 Lex Society. In 2012, Joseph Macnow was the recipient of the Distinguished Alumnus Award from Baruch College. He is the recipient of the Ellis Island Medal of Honor in 2005. Also in 2005, the Bergen Museum of Art & Science named Joseph Macnow the Museum's Person of the Year.
Joseph Macnow earned his BBA from the City College of New York, Baruch School of Public and Business Administration, majoring in Accounting. He continued his education at Baruch and at the University of Southern California, completing all course work required for receiving the Degree of Master of Business Administration.
