Jonathan Wecker joined Allurion in 2010 as our Chief Executive Officer.
Jonathan is the former CEO of the American Institute of Gastric Banding, the largest provider of Lap-Band® weight loss surgery in the United States.
Jon previously lead corporate development at CoalTek, a clean coal technology company.
Between 1992 and 2006 he worked
in strategy and finance with Salomon Brothers, the Boston Consulting Group and Bain Capital, focused primarily in the healthcare industry.
Jon graduated from Harvard Business School in 1997 and received a BA in Economics, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Cornell University.
He lives in Weston, Massachusetts with his wife Allison and sons Max, Joshua and Benjamin.
