Magazine Awards, including General Excellence for both print and digital. Jon lives and plays in Boulder, Colorado, with his wife, two daughters, and Bronx, a 100-pound Bernese mountain dog. He serves on the board of the American Society of Magazine Editors and volunteers with Big City Mountaineers, a nonprofit that provides wilderness mentoring to at-risk teens.
