As Founder and CEO of Touchstone IQ, Jon is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of the company’s software and services product designs and execution. Prior to Starting Touchstone IQ, Jon served a Partner with CB&I’s (Shaw Sustainable Design Solutions, Inc.), as a Sr. Director of Energy Management for CB&I, as a Manager within
the Building Technology and Sustainability Group for Realfoundations, Inc., as an Energy Consultant for Sieben Energy Associates, and before that, as an Energy Engineer for Nexant, Inc.
Jon has 20+ years of experience in managing and executing utility and state energy efficiency programs, energy management projects, energy audits, building Commissioning/ReCommissioning, LEED, and sustainability programs within the public and private sectors. This includes the development and execution of corporate energy management strategies incorporating the assessment of market trends, opportunities and potential risks. He has also managed project teams in the assessment and implementation of portfolio-wide energy management, utility management and building automation building systems. Jon has executed countless building benchmarking assessments, energy audits, commissioning and retro-commissioning projects incorporating energy-efficient design and LEED certification.
Current professional affiliations include the Entrepreneur Organization (EO), ASHRAE, USGBC, the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), and the Association of Energy Service Professionals (AESP).
