Prior to joining Luminex Trading & Analytics LLC, Jonathan was the Managing Director, Co–Head of Equity Trading – Americas at BlackRock, Inc. He was responsible for all aspects of trade execution, including broker selection and monitoring. In 2009, Jonathan was a member of BlackRock’s Quantitative Investments team and was responsible for
derivatives overlay and strategy. Jonathan’s service with BlackRock dates back to 1999, including his years with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM), which merged with BlackRock in 2006. At MLIM, he was a member of the Quantitative Investments team, responsible for managing arbitrage and derivative strategies for enhanced and structured portfolios. He also managed a commodities futures portfolio.
