Mr. Lansky is a co-founder of Varadero and responsible for portfolio management. Mr. Lansky is also a member of Varadero’s Investment Committee. Prior to his employment at Varadero, Mr. Lansky was a Director at NIBC CMI as well as a member of its Investment Committee. Before joining NIBC CMI, Mr. Lansky worked in the Global Structured Products
Group at MLIM where he was responsible for analyzing investments and developing structured issuance programs for MLIM’s portfolio managers. Mr. Lansky began his finance career at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., where he worked in the Asset Backed Securities Group to structure, underwrite, and distribute securitization transactions, including residential mortgage-backed securitizations, auto loan securitizations, dealer floor plan securitizations, and esoteric asset securitizations.
Mr. Lansky has an A.B. from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
